We welcome articles from new and seasoned contributors!
We rely completely on the generosity of volunteers to provide articles. We truly could not do it without you. THANK YOU!!
Our volunteer contributors include lawyers, educators, journalists, students, accountants, psychologists, social workers and more from across Canada.
If you are interested in contributing to LawNow, we humbly request the following:
- Review our Guide for Contributors and Terms of Use page (see section 6 for LawNow terms and conditions).
- Consider writing up to 4 articles in an editorial year (between July and June)
- Choose any topic that relates to the law in Canada – be it a current event, new legal development, or interesting legal tidbit. See the list below for common areas of law we cover. We can also help you brainstorm!
If you’re still in, email our editor, Jessica Steingard, with the following information:
- How many articles you are committing to
- Possible submission dates for each article, if you have a preference (otherwise, we can suggest dates)
- Ideas for articles, if you have some already
- If this is your first time contributing, a bit about yourself and a writing sample
PLEASE NOTE We do not pay contributors for their efforts. And we do not post affiliate links on our site.
